OFFICIAL RULES FOR LETTERMEN SPORTS
MINNESOTA STATE HIGH SCHOOL TOURNEY SUITE SWEEPSTAKES
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN THIS SWEEPSTAKES. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR ODDS OF WINNING. THIS SWEEPSTAKES IS VOID WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW.
Eligibility:
Sweepstakes participants must be: 1) a U.S. resident; 2) at least 18 years of age at the time the sweepstakes begins; and 3) have a valid Facebook account. The Minnesota State High School Tourney Suite Sweepstakes (“Sweepstakes”) is void outside the United States or where prohibited or restricted by law.
This Sweepstakes is sponsored by Lettermen Inc. d/b/a Lettermen Sports (“Sponsor”). All employees, officers, directors and agents and their immediate families or any members of their households, regardless of relationship, of Sponsor or any advertising agency or other company involved with the design, production, execution or distribution of this Sweepstakes are not eligible to participate in the Sweepstakes or to win any prizes. This Sweepstakes is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Facebook. You understand that you are providing your information to Sponsor.
Any Sweepstakes entries received from an ineligible participant will be disqualified. By participating in this Sweepstakes, participants accept and agree to be bound by these rules and the decisions of Sponsor, which shall be final on all matters. Sponsor reserves the right to modify the rules of the Sweepstakes in any way at any time, subject to state or federal law.
Sweepstakes Period:
The Sweepstakes will begin when the Lettermen Sports official Facebook page makes a post on 2/24/2020 (the “Facebook Sweepstakes Post”) stating the Sweepstakes has commenced; the Sweepstakes ends on 3/1/2020 at 11:59 pm CST (the “Sweepstakes Period”). All entries must be received and recorded by Sponsor during the Sweepstakes Period to be eligible.
How To Enter:
You can enter the Sweepstakes through clicking on the link in the Facebook Sweepstakes Post or in other relevant Lettermen Sports promotional posts or messages referencing this Sweepstakes and completing and submitting the survey on the entry form. One entry per person permitted. Duplicate entries will be rejected for entry in the Sweepstakes.
Sponsor is not responsible for lost, misdirected, late, unsent, incomplete, illegible or unintelligible entries or for inaccurate entry information, whether caused by the participant or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in this Sweepstakes, or by any technical or human error that may occur in the transmittal of any entry or the processing of any function on the participant’s computer system. Participant must notify Sponsor of any changed contact information within the Sweepstakes Period to remain eligible to win based on entry information. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual found to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes; to be acting in violation of these rules; or to be acting with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person. Any use of robotic, automatic, programmed or similar response methods will void all such entries submitted by such methods.
Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to modify, terminate, or suspend this Sweepstakes should viruses, bugs, unauthorized human intervention or other causes beyond Sponsor’s control corrupt or impair the administration, security or fairness of the Sweepstakes. Sponsor is not responsible for any human or technological error that may occur in the processing of the Sweepstakes nor are they responsible for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, communications line failure, theft or destruction of, unauthorized access to, delay in operation, transmission, or distribution of, or alteration of entries, whether caused by the sender, any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in this Sweepstakes, or otherwise.
Prize:
Sweepstakes participants will enter for a chance to win a suite at the Minnesota State High School hockey tournament AA boys championship game (the “Prize”). One potential winner will be selected. The chances of winning depend on the number of entries received. No transfer, assignment, cash redemption or substitution of any prize is permitted, except by Sponsor due to prize availability and then with a prize of equal or greater value. The total approximate retail value of the Prize is less than $1,000.
Potential Winner Selection and Notification:
The potential winner will be selected in a random drawing on 3/2/2020. Sponsor will notify the potential winner individually by email. The potential winner must respond within five (5) days of being notified or the Prize may be forfeited and another Sweepstakes participant chosen.
The potential winner must satisfactorily complete an affidavit of eligibility showing compliance with these Sweepstakes Rules, and the potential winner must also sign a liability and publicity release, allowing Sponsor to use his or her information for advertising or other purposes. Failure to complete these forms may result in forfeiture of the prize. In the event that the potential winner is disqualified for any reason, Sponsor may select an alternate potential winner by random drawing from among all remaining eligible entries.
The winner is solely responsible for all applicable federal, state or provincial, and local taxes and any expenses associated with any prizes, including but not limited to travel to and from the Minnesota State High School hockey tournament AA boys championship game.
Limitation of Liability and Dispute Resolution:
Entrants and the winner are solely responsible for their own actions relating to this Sweepstakes, and the acceptance and/or use of the Prize. By participating in this Sweepstakes and/or by acceptance or use of the Prize, all entrants and the winner agree to release and hold harmless Facebook and Sponsor, its parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, retailers, agencies, and the respective officers, directors, employees and agents from and against any liability arising in connection with the Sweepstakes and/or use of the Prize (including, without limitation, claims, costs, injuries, losses, or damages related to personal injuries, death, damage to, loss or destruction of property, rights of publicity or privacy, defamation, or portrayal in a false light). PRIZES ARE AWARDED “AS IS” WITH NO WARRANTY OR GUARANTEE, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. SPONSOR DISCLAIMS ALL AND ANY LIABILITY ASSOCIATED WITH PARTICIPATING IN THE SWEEPSTAKES.
Except where prohibited, each participant and winner accepting a prize agrees that: (a) all issues and questions concerning these rules shall be governed by Minnesota law without giving effect to any principles of conflicts of law of any jurisdiction; (b) any and all disputes, claims and causes of action at law or in equity arising out of or relating to this Sweepstakes or any prize awarded shall be (i) resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action; and (ii) filed only in the state courts situated in Minnesota, and participant hereby consents and submits to the personal jurisdiction of such courts for the purposes of litigating any such disputes, claims or causes of action; (c) any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, but in no event shall include attorneys' fees; and (d) under no circumstances will any participant or winner be permitted to obtain awards for and hereby waives all rights to claim punitive, incidental, special, consequential damages and any other damages, other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses, and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased.

Privacy: Any information submitted by entrants will be treated in accordance with Sponsor’s Privacy Policy located at https://lettermensports.com/privacy-policy-cookie-restriction-mode.
