Full-colour prints on almost any fabric

Direct-to-Film (DTF) Printing

Direct-to-film printing puts your design on a film in full colour, which we then heat-press onto the garment, on our Prestige XL3 Pro DTF station in Blaine. It handles photos, gradients and fine detail that screen printing cannot, and works on cotton, polyester and blends.

When to choose DTF

DTF is ideal for full-colour logos, small runs and designs with lots of detail. Because there are no screens to make, it suits short runs and artwork with many colours.

Questions

Is there a minimum order?

Yes, 6 pieces. The pieces can be different sizes, and names can change from piece to piece. There is no minimum on letter jackets.

How long does an order take?

Usually 2–3 weeks. From 1 November to 25 December, our busiest time, allow 3–5 weeks.

Do you charge to set up my logo?

No. There are no digitizing fees: we set up your logo for embroidery or printing at no charge.

What file should I send?

Whatever you have. We work with every type of file, from a vector logo to a photo of your old shirt.

Will I see a proof?

Only if you ask for one. We can send a proof before we decorate, but it usually adds time to the order.

How much will it cost?

Every order is quoted, because the price depends on the garments, how many and how the logo goes on. Call us or send an inquiry and we will get back to you with a quote.

What is the difference between DTF and screen printing?

Screen printing uses one screen per colour and suits many pieces of one design. DTF prints the whole design in one pass on film, so it suits full-colour artwork and smaller orders.
