Bauer Vapor FLY40 Senior Hockey Skate
The Vapor FLY40 brings features from Bauer's elite skates into a Vapor skate for players who want pro-level support and comfort. Bauer says it was updated in almost every way from the skate before it.
What goes into it
- CURV® composite boot: stiff support for strong strides, stops and starts, and it can be heat-molded to your foot.
- POWERFLY holder: a stiff front post for energy transfer in every stride and a flexible back post for quicker side-to-side moves.
- Pro-stock 40 oz. felt tongue and a soft ankle liner for comfort.
Size and fit
We carry the senior FLY40 in sizes 7 to 12 in Fit 1 (narrower, lower volume), Fit 2 (medium) and Fit 3 (wider, more volume); the choices above show what is in stock. The best way to choose a size and fit is to be fitted in person.
Fitting, baking and sharpening
At our Blaine or Plymouth store we will fit you, bake the boot so it shapes to your foot, and sharpen the steel. When it is time to replace the steel, the POWERFLY holder takes Bauer's Fly-Ti and Fly-X runners. See all Bauer Vapor skates.
