Bauer Vapor FLYLITE Senior Hockey Skate
The Vapor FLYLITE is made for players who attack with speed: quick starts, tight turns and a long, powerful stride. Bauer built it to flex with you, so every stride loads energy and gives it back.
What goes into it
- FUSION FLEX notches: five notches in the facing let the boot flex forward, storing energy in each stride for quicker acceleration.
- FUSION CURV® quarter and FUSION FLEX outsole: flexible materials that work together to return energy as you accelerate, cross over and stop.
- LOCKFIT PRO liner: grips the foot and keeps it in place.
- Updated toe cap shape: for fit and comfort at the front of the boot.
Size and fit
We carry the senior FLYLITE in sizes 7 to 12 in Bauer's three fits: Fit 1 for a narrower, lower-volume foot, Fit 2 for a medium foot and Fit 3 for a wider, higher-volume foot. The choices above show what is in stock. Skate sizes run smaller than shoe sizes, and fit matters more than anything else in a skate, so the best way to choose is to be fitted.
Fitting, baking and sharpening
Come in to our Blaine or Plymouth store and we will fit you for size and width, bake (heat-mold) the skates so the boot shapes to your foot, and sharpen them before you hit the ice. Read our skate sharpening guide or see all Bauer Vapor skates.
