CCM SISU Aero Mouthguard
The CCM SISU Aero is a thin, custom-fit mouthguard made with SISU: it comes flat and is molded to your own teeth in hot water, and it can be remolded.
- Custom fit molded at home; SISU says it can be remolded up to 20 times.
- Crumple zone technology, which CCM says makes it more solid than the industry standard.
- Thin profile: CCM gives its thickness as 1.6 mm, and SISU says it lets you talk, breathe and drink with ease.
- SISU material that SISU calls 30% stronger, with 8 times the tensile strength, than conventional mouthguard materials.
- BPA, BPS, latex, PVC and phthalate free, per SISU.
SISU's fitting directions: heat water to about 170 degrees F (76 C), hot but not boiling, and soften the guard in it. Lift it out with a fork without letting it fold, then bite gently on the center bar and use your tongue and fingertips to press the material against your teeth from back to front. Close your lips and gently suck in air until it sets. To remold it, soften it in hot water again. Follow the directions in the package.
We carry it in small, medium and large, in black, blue, pink, red and white; the choices above show what is in stock. SISU sizes the Aero by height: small under 5 feet, medium 5 to 6 feet and large 6 feet and up, and it says the medium and large work with braces while the small does not. Order online or pick one up at our Blaine or Plymouth store, and see the CCM SISU 1.6 senior and junior mouthguards or all hockey mouthguards.
