CCM Tacks XR Senior Hockey Skates
The Tacks XR is built around a one-piece boot for direct power transfer and a more explosive, connected feel, for players who want to load each push, jump on acceleration and stay sharp through hard turns.
What goes into it
- RFM Power Composite boot, an NHL-caliber lightweight composite with added durability and the signature Tacks stiffness profile.
- One-piece boot construction with an increased pitch angle for a more aggressive stance.
- ADPT Comfort tongue with a molded core, ADPT Memory Foam and a FlexMotion lace-bite design.
- TotalDri Pro liner that wicks moisture to keep feet dry.
- ADPT Memory Foam ankle pads and a molded footbed with ADPT Memory Foam.
- Speedblade XS holder with an enhanced dial for quick steel changes, with Step Steel runners that stand 4mm taller than standard runners.
Size and fit
Sizes 7 to 12 in Regular, Tapered and Wide fits; the choices above show what is in stock. The Tacks XR has a higher instep volume, for a more generous fit through the midfoot.
Fitting, baking and sharpening
At our Blaine or Plymouth store we will fit you, bake the boot and sharpen the steel. See the Tacks XR 90 senior and Tacks XR 80 senior, or all CCM Tacks skates.
