Rezztek Player Edition Hockey Blade Grip
Rezztek is a blade grip for player sticks, used instead of cloth tape on the blade: forehand and backhand pieces made of a patented four-layer material. Rezztek says it is 50 percent lighter than hockey tape and increases shot speed and accuracy.
What goes into it
- Four layers: an adhesive that removes cleanly, a fiber mesh for durability, a resin layer for flexibility and little energy loss, and a grip surface for puck control.
- Water resistant and water repellent, and grippy enough that Rezztek says no wax is needed.
- Two sticks per pack: four grips, two forehand and two backhand.
- 8 to 10 games per application when it is applied properly, according to Rezztek, which suggests replacing it once at least 30 percent of the surface is damaged.
- Black or white: Rezztek suggests black for darker sticks, since it hides where the puck sits on the blade, and white for white sticks and blades, to see the puck better.
Sizes
Junior, which Rezztek recommends for players younger than 12 using a youth or junior stick, and senior, for players older than 13 using an intermediate or adult stick, each in black or white; the choices above show what is in stock. Rezztek asks that you watch its instructional video before you apply it.
