True Catalyst 3X6 Intermediate Hockey Skates
The Catalyst 3X6 in intermediate sizes: an entry-level True skate with the one-piece Polyfusion shell and the SpeedShift holder, and a softer boot that breaks in easily.
What goes into it
- Polyfusion one-piece shell with True's integrated boot construction, made to fit off the shelf and able to be heat-molded.
- Asymmetrical laminated tongue of multi-density foam, with a T-Guard insert that helps against impacts and lace bite.
- Printed, brushed tricot liner that keeps the foot cool and dry.
- Co-molded tendon guard held with steel rivets.
- Low-profile CARV toe cap that sits close to the ice for sharper turns.
- SpeedShift holder, which True says is 15 percent lighter than its predecessor, with quick-change steel and a more neutral pitch for balance.
Size and fit
Intermediate sizes 4 to 6.5, including half sizes, in regular width; the choices above show what is in stock.
Fitting, baking and sharpening
At our Blaine or Plymouth store we will fit you, bake the boot and sharpen the steel. See the True HZRDUS 5X intermediate skate or all intermediate skates.
