True Catalyst NITRO Senior Hockey Skates
The Catalyst NITRO is True's pro-level player skate, built on a one-piece POLYFUSION PWRCORE shell that pairs a light build with pro-level stiffness for power and control. This is the senior skate.
What goes into it
- POLYFUSION PWRCORE one-piece shell, a Polyfusion shell co-molded with PWRCORE for energy transfer, in a boot that can be heat-molded.
- Laminated Pro tongue, asymmetrical and layered with multi-density foam, with a built-in T-Guard insert against impacts and lace bite.
- HydroFoam liner that wicks sweat to keep the foot dry.
- Low-profile CARV toe cap that sits closer to the ice for a tighter turning radius.
- SpeedShift holder and steel, which True says is 15 percent lighter, with a quick-change blade, a neutral pitch and cutouts that trim weight.
- Hyper-Polish DLC steel finish that leaves a square edge without a hone, for a smooth glide.
Size and fit
Senior sizes 7 to 10, including half sizes, in regular width; the choices above show what is in stock.
Fitting, baking and sharpening
At our Blaine or Plymouth store we will fit you, bake the boot and sharpen the steel. See the True Catalyst 9 senior skate or all senior skates.
