Ward Hockey Smelling Salts
Ward Hockey Smelling Salts are an ammonia inhalant in a resealable bottle, from Ward Smelling Salts of British Columbia, Canada, a company that makes only smelling salts. Ward says it developed this formula with professional and amateur hockey teams so the scent stays sharp in a cold rink.
- Formulated for cold conditions, in Ward's words.
- Comes unactivated: following Ward's directions, add a spoonful (one teaspoon) of water and seal the bottle to activate it.
- Resealable bottle, not a single-use snap capsule. Ward says to re-cap it tightly after each use.
- 3.4 oz (100 cc) bottle.
Ward's directions for use: uncap the bottle, hold it a few inches below your nose and take a quick sniff; never press it to your face. Ward calls the product intense and asks users to follow the directions. It is not a medical product; Ward makes it for athletic and recreational use only.
