Winnwell GXW-1 Intermediate Goalie Stick
The GXW-1 is Winnwell's wood goalie stick, here in intermediate size with a 23 inch paddle, for a goalie who wants the feel of wood in a stick built to stand up to shots.
What goes into it
- Multi-laminated wood shaft, reinforced in layers to spread the force of incoming shots.
- Ash wood blade that absorbs impact and stands up to wear.
- Paddle and blade blended together for balance and a natural wood-stick feel.
- PS141 blade pattern, Winnwell's mid curve, for playing the puck around the crease.
- White and black finish.
Size and hand
We carry it with a 23 inch paddle and a left (regular) blade, for a goalie who catches with the left hand and holds the stick in the right; Winnwell makes the GXW-1 in regular only. The choices above show what is in stock.
Bring your goalie to our Blaine or Plymouth store to find the right length. See the junior GXW-1, the CCM Premier P2.5 intermediate goalie stick or all goalie sticks.
