Bauer Vapor FLY40 Intermediate Skate
The intermediate Vapor FLY40 brings the senior FLY40's build to sizes 4 to 6.5, for players whose feet have outgrown junior skates. Bauer packed it with features from its elite skates: a stiff composite boot, the POWERFLY holder and a pro-style tongue.
What goes into it
- CURV® composite boot: stiff support for strong strides, stops and starts, and it can be heat-molded to the foot.
- POWERFLY holder: a stiff front post for energy transfer and a flexible back post for quicker side-to-side moves.
- Pro-stock 40 oz. felt tongue and a soft ankle liner for comfort.
Size and fit
We carry sizes 4 to 6.5 in Bauer's Fit 1 (narrower, lower volume), Fit 2 (medium) and Fit 3 (wider, more volume); the choices above show what is in stock. Growing feet change shape as well as length, so have your player measured each season.
Fitting, baking and sharpening
Bring your player in to our Blaine or Plymouth store and we will fit them, bake the boot so it shapes to the foot, and sharpen the steel. See the senior FLY40 or all Bauer Vapor skates.
